As we wrap up another exciting month for Qtum, we're thrilled to share our latest community engagements and development progress. October has been filled with notable events, giveaways, and new initiatives showcasing Qtum's growing influence in blockchain.

Global Blockchain Summit 

Global Summit

Miguel Palencia, the Co-founder and COO of Qtum, spoke at the 10th Global Blockchain Summit. This event took place on October 17, 2024, and was hosted by the Design Innovation Institute in Shanghai. The event was a great chance for people in the blockchain space to learn about the future of the industry.

Community Engagement and Giveaways

Guarda X Qtum

We had a giveaway with Guarda! Twenty winners received 5 Qtum tokens, totaling 100 Qtum. Guarda Wallet users were able to participate on CoinMarketCap.

Coinstore's Crypt-O-Ween Trick & Treat event

Offering a share of $10,000 in total rewards to 2,000 lucky winners. Coinstore’s Crypt-O-Ween Trick & Treat 4th and Final Haunted Airdrop ended on November 3rd. $10,000 in total was awarded to 2,000 lucky winners. We were very pleased to be a part of this event! 

Qtum-Ethereum USDC Bridge Testnet

The Qtum USDC Incentivized Bridge Testnet event Phase 1 started on November 1st at 10:00 AM EST. Testers have been earning points by performing daily tasks using the Qtum Bridge. 

The first phase of this campaign offers a 3000 Qtum payout. This initiative not only allows our community to earn rewards but also helps us improve the bridge's functionality and security.
